Looking at getting a pv3 soon and wanted to hear real world experience from you guys. Are you running canned tunes, AA tunes, or something else entirely? Any info is greatly appreciated.
It only works when you install the Kraftwerks Supercharger!I cant find anything on what the kraftwerks pv3 tune has to offer.
would you know what is the difference between kraftworks and dynojets?
I still cant get inj Scaling correct on different inj. & you definately cant change closed loop fueling. For the NA engines PV3 works been there done that but once you add SC ect your in trouble unfortunately i think the only answer is bite the bullet invest into the BIN tuning option IMO if you want maximum performance PLus many more options available. There have been multiple updates in the definition file to scale the MAP readings correctly. This all started when we were adding boost tables to the definition to support Kraftwerks. It has been rectified and tested on my personal car. The PV3 has all the tables exposed that you mentioned as well but yes, only certain people have access to all the tuning parameters.
Yes Dynojet changed one of their tunes for me. And I changed one of the tunes with the app that Uturn sent me.For the PV3, if you don't like the canned tune Dynojet, will re-tune it for you. You will most likely have to datalog a run and send it in. The Dynojet tunes are also programable using free Dynojet software if your into that stuff. Let me know if you need some help.
AA Tunes. AA tunes are a little stronger than Dynojet tunes. I think they are closed and any changes have to go back to AA.

So what car do you have? & have you actually data logged closed loop with wide band to prove it actually is shut off, making changes to your desired input.Absolutley you can. Done it on my personal car for testing

I would love to see screen shots of before & after said changesSo what car do you have? & have you actually data logged closed loop with wide band to prove it actually is shut off, making changes to your desired input.
I left my tune in CL, only change I made was to lower the accelration exit point down to 6k rpmI would love to see screen shots of before & after said changes
Definately makes sense to use alpha N mode "TPS" input for tuning over the Map speed density.I have a 23 KRX 4. I had it on the dyno and yes, you could disable CL and target any AFR I wanted. I did most of tuning in ALPHA-N mode
So were you able to change AFR table in closed loop or just the exit point.I left my tune in CL, only change I made was to lower the accelration exit point down to 6k rpm
There is not a target AFR table defined in the ECU. The tunelab script within the PV3 definition allows you to alter the target AFR.So were you able to change AFR table in closed loop or just the exit point.
So the light blue table is in closed loop pcm trying to trim to stoich after 6k & 50%tps then the tables in open loop with a much better AFR. I personally would like to see 12.8 for the higher side cells in a NA version. Is this a boosted application looks real lean if so. I would be very curious to actually data log in the real would environment to see whats it at. Thanks for the input If DJ actually let everyone do this i wouldnt have a bitch with them, so the average person has 2 choices pay a dyno shop mega $$$ for a base tune then after real world data logging go back to the dyno shop to input to do what you can do or go to a format elsewhere. So when i say DJ is closing down everything thats what there doing for the average person. Again thanks for sharing. There is not a target AFR table defined in the ECU. The tunelab script within the PV3 definition allows you to alter the target AFR.

I don't his is any better than a million-dollar corporation that has been doing this for many many years. He used to do clutches for us back in the prairie days. He decided not to challenge the clutch professionals now days and just pushed his tunes which he will not let you see. If they are so good why will he not at least let you see a generic one to see if he really does change.I also run the PV3. Originaly started with their HMF slip on file. But was getting more pops than I wanted. Dynojet went thru several updates for me and I now have a different file for my KRX that works well with my GGB exhaust and doesn’t pop. I have no doubt that full ECU reflash files from Vforce John are stronger, but knowing I’ll be doing a Kraftwerke SC soon the PV3 made more sense right now.
