Spy photo of new Supercharged Kawasaki

These photos were captured in Glamis by a passing motorist of what appears to be the new Boosted Kawasaki UTV, I won't call it a KRX because I believe it's a completely different platform and the current KRX isn't going anywhere.
It looks like in one photo a UTV with a camera boom so would assume they are shooting a promo video, the graphics on the door also say H2 leading me to believe it will actually have the supercharged 4 cylinder H2 motor putting out over 200 hp and capable of much more.
Looks like we may finally get what many have been wanting, a boosted machine comparable to the Pro R and Maverick R however for a lot of us KRX owners it may be a hard pill to swallow, this will be a $40k + machine while you can purchase a new KRX for less than $20k, 2 very different machines for different riding styles and this is not going to be a KRX replacement, for trail riders and rock crawlers the KRX will still be King especially at the price point but if you are a speed junkie this is exciting news.....
One thing for sure I'm going to do my best to have one (if I can swing it) gotta have one for testing purposes :) even if it doesn't have a CVT (which I hope it doesn't) I'll come up with something for it so I can justify it as a business purchase.. LOL :p

This is good stuff.
Potential use of the H-2 engine platform does have my attention.
Personally, after having one dual clutch and 3 CVT machines... I'm good w/ a CVT for a lot of reasons.
I agree the KRX will continue to be top dog for trails and rocks. The only area it lacks in when compared to our Pro XP is the trail to trail highway runs which honestly in our world is like .000238 % of our riding.
I'm watching from the sidelines for "awhile"... aka: my fiancé has been hugely supportive over the last 6 years of this SxS addiction.. I show up w/ another 40K machine "needing" another 20K in upfitting [see Pro XP]... it better have sleeping quarters for me.. 🤣🤣🤣.

I hope it will have super low, low range. Looks much wider.

I would be happy with a 4 cylinder NA version.

I feel like Kawi has been really paying attention to the aftermarket. Those control arms look like HCR, the front bumper looks like Bosman Designs and the seats look like PRP. I think 200 HP, eS and electronic swaybar disconnects like Shock Therapy/Fox have been playing with. Direct competition is the Pro S4 and X3 XRS Turbo RR Max. Price tag has to be high $30ks.

What exactly is a "kawasaki affiliate employee"?

I work at a dealership and know everything once Kawasaki goes public. I was highly critical of the Ridge, coining the phrase, "Peak Premium Disappointment". But I have no reason to temper expectation of the new Teryx H2 so far. Why do you?

It's a beautiful machine. It'll be the one to beat. With a 1000+ cc SC motor, Japanese /Kawasaki quality and a machine you can drive off the show room floor without having to drop an extra 5k to upgrade suspect components like you do on Polscareus and Can't Am it will be the machine everyone wants. When the two seater comes out it will dominate. đź’Ż

The Kawi H2 will have the highest HP output of any stock UTV off the showroom floor.

Just because it makes 300hp that doesn't mean it's automatically going to win or run up front. A huge part of being successful in desert racing is suspension and shock tuning. Without those, all the horsepower in the world is useless.

The video I saw of that car going around the short course screamed slow, heavy and horrible suspension tuning.

For starters, the stock H2 four-seater will not be making 300 HP—it’s more like 250 to 270 HP. You’re correct that horsepower alone doesn’t win races, nor does suspension or the driver alone. Success comes from the right combination of many factors.
