Skid plates

The problem I had with the other company skid plates that ended up returning, they were not cut or bent correctly. Spent 3 hours with a floor jack trying to bend the skids. But there is no way you're going to bend this stuff. They tried to say I needed to heat them up to fit. I was pissed. Even the holes didn't line up. I don't want the kawasaki skids because they do not cover enough. But then I don't want the headache of going through the nightmare again!
I can understand the frustration. They should fit right up, and all the holes should be in the correct places.

Got it! Waiting on the reply. I do have the kawasaki bumpers and guards.
The Kawasaki front bumper eliminates the need for the extra little bash plate piece like JTW said. I dropped off a ledge in Moab that was a little higher than I was expecting, and I went over it with just a touch too little brakes. This is why I put on all the protective pieces that I can.

I will suggest this... ask them to pitch a piece of scrap in the box so you can make one of these little bash plates. I added this after I lost the front plate due to the spring sag and catching a rock in a mud hole just right to contact that blunt leading edge of the front bottom plate. They sent me a new one and I used a piece of scrap uhmw I had to make this little front 45. They don’t extend them up due to the variation in bumpers. So, do yourself a favor and add one of these if you’re not running a bumper that prohibits it. View attachment 2431
You need to get yourself some a-arm guards. Even the Kawasaki guards are better than nothing. Pulled mine off before it went in for the a-arm/knuckle upgrade, and the a-arms still looked like new. The guards are showing some wear which is exactly why I run them. One of these days I'll upgrade them to a UHMW guard to provide more than just scratch and small dent protection. :)

Trail Armor skids finally showed up today. I had to chuckle when the box of skid plates said “do not open with blade” on it. Lol. I hope to install them tomorrow or Saturday
That's funny right there. Guess they don't want you to dull your knife if you hit the skid... lol
