In a way its a fail safe too. Everyone loves the Teryx and is comfortable with. KRX... will have to go through vetting even though its a Kawi.

 

It works as a fail safe and it also allows us to have an extra option for our side by sides. I don't know how it would affect Kawasaki's bottom line but it does seem like a win-win.

 

I wonder if this engine is going to be used in the new Teryx as well.

 

I rather it stay a twin and have Kawasaki build on it if they do anything engine wise.

 

Three-Cylinder will have more power so I would go for that, it will a new experience for me, waiting to see how the CVT performs.

 

That sheet has power as 84 kW, converted to HP its 112.
Along with specs that basically puts it inline with every other side-by-side like the Talon, YXZ, etc.

Sorry doesn't say vtwin, I must have imagined that, it doesn't specify.

 

Since Kawasaki has taken so much time on the KRX, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt about the three-cylinder engine for now. I'm more curious to see how the CVT performs.

 

Actually, the entire engine-trans powertrain is questionable.
Current 3-cyl from Kawi is underpowered which begs the question about forced induction. Within that question of FI is supercharged or twin turbo?
