I've never had issues driving through town to the trails when needed. Unfortunately, in my ridiculous state of CO, you can't have a street legal UTV. So technically, in Moab, I'm not legal even if I plated it with online IDAHO or SOUTH DAKOTA plates you can finagle. The UT law is specific and states that you have to be plated in your state of residency. I still have the street legal kit and just put my UT OHV sticker on the plate holder :ROFLMAO:

LOL
I ran my South Dakota plate on my General and have an Idaho plate on the KRX and have run both in Moab. Typically I prefer to trailer to trail heads though, because running a SxS on the highway just sucks, in my opinion.
I think that if you have a plate and aren't driving like an ass, local LEO's will likely you alone. Don't give them a reason to pull you over and check things out.

I don't have signals on mine, so not quite Moab legal but like I said, if you don't draw attention to yourself I doubt you would ever have a problem if you have a plate on.
I honestly can't imagine how our roads would be if we could legally ride them. Dealing with all the a-holes on bikes is bad enough trying to drive up any of our canyons...

You need to do the Trifecta. Poison Spider, Golden Spike and Gold Bar Rim. It's the best ride out there, in my opinion. Hit Where Eagles Dare as a great extra little side trip. When you come down the big rock face after stopping at the flag, take a left when you hit the wash at the bottom. Awesome side trail. The Launch Pad also has a pucker factor. (more so on my ATV, but it gets your attention lol)
Stage at Poison Spider trailhead. You come out on Gemini Bridges Rd. Then you have to road ride back to your truck.

I wish I would have had a new flag with me so I could have changed it out.

Great time today on Poison Spider. A trail made for the KRX. On the way out there was a Maverick R that was having a hard time on the first two main gate keepers going in. Sounded like it was not geared for crawling. Lady pulled the wench line!!! Like she pulled it all out, like had the whole thing in her hand, right off the drum. It did look nice parked on Main Street white and black with two blue lit whips this morning. So do not know if was RC model.

Well....I’m at the emergency room
😩

It was not a good day. I decided to go take a ride on a horse yesterday evening to relax. It turned out to be a freakin mistake! I got on the horse and started out slowly, but then we went a little faster; before I knew it, we were going as fast as the horse could go. The horse made a sudden jerk and just blew up. Bucking and kicking , and I couldn’t hold on. I fell off, but my foot got caught in the stirrup. The horse kept bucking and running, and was dragging me and wouldn’t stop. Thank goodness the manager of the grocery store came out and unplugged the machine. But then he had the nerve to take the rest of my quarters so I wouldn’t attempt to drive the Batmobile, and told me to stay away from the handicap carts. If you actually read what I wrote, copy and paste for someone else to smile about!
Everyone needs to smile at least once a day!
