Where NOT to go for a KRX roof!

Not to be a total Karen, but holy crap did I just get screwed over. I ordered an aluminum roof from Pro UTV Parts out of Provo, UT. This was an EMP Aluminum roof for a little over $400. All is well. I get a confirmation email and a subsequent delivery confirmation from FedEx that the part would arrive today. So as I watched the FedEx truck drive past my house, I became concerned. Called Craig at ProUTV who said FedEx is screwed up and they have the roof on the truck. FedEx says a label was made, but they don't have the package. I then called EMP who promised to research the issue and get back to me. Long story short, I got a call from EMP saying ProUTV should not have sold the roof because they haven't even received them from the manufacturing facility. A COMPLETE CLUSTER!

This only happens when you schedule a family camping trip for the weekend. Still waiting on the refund...

In my experience that’s why I deal with amazon the most.
Go order the roof from axiom. I got mine and it looks great. I got the Kawi green one.

Craig is a good guy and has a very strong following on the Maverick forum. I have spent a lot of money with him and would not have a problem recommending him to anyone. Sorry about your experience. Chit happens some times...
Man, sorry to read this! I bought a crap-ton of stuff for my X3 from Craig, and all went well. I hate that it happened to you, for sure.
Same deal with PRO UTV.....I ordered a EMP hitch because it said "in stock" on the website.....several days go by and no email notification that the item has been shipped. I call Craig, leave a message with my order number and he texted that the hitch is on back order and that he cannot get a ship date. I then ask for a refund and "magically" he says it just shipped!! I ask him if the item shipped to him or to me....he stated to me. Looking at the FedEx tracking number it says "label created".....anyone can create a label......shady business in my book......Two guys on the same forum with the same problem.....buyer beware......still no hitch and still no info on Fed Ex indicating when I will get my hitch.
Jeeeesh.... He sells hundreds of products many of which are drop-ship from the manufacturer. If a manufacturer has a production issue he’s not always going to know. Some people seem to have easily lost sight of the fact we are still living in a pandemic and MANY manufacturers have had disruptions, yet you still wanted your product YESTERDAY. Guess what guys everyone has been dealing with this kind of thing for the last few months. Get over it... Have a beer or better yet go for a ride.

I’ve been waiting 6mo on a $3K Marlin mount I was suppose to get in April. Not happy about it but also understand the situation. You guys crying about not getting your $100 part just looks bad especially considering the current situation.

Jeeeesh.....I thought the purpose of forums was to educate its members and share experiences but apparently Sandman wants to personally attack experiences that were shared for the forum's benefit by Tiernan and myself. CLEARLY we are in a pandemic, CLEARLY many manufacturers have had disruptions and layoffs which CLEARLY impact many people personally and professionally........and I don't recall saying that I wanted the product I ordered YESTERDAY anywhere in my post, what I feel I CLEARLY said is that I felt the process was SHADY the way it happened. I personally feel I was being lied to by PRO UTV, its as simple as that. Thank God we live in the United States and you guys can do business with however you choose to do business with.....I was sharing MY experience with the forum on this particular business as EVERY forum I belong to the members share this sort of information with each other. So before you accuse me of crying, maybe you should keep your negative personal attacks to yourself.

The point of my post is that your “sharing” of negative experiences in times like this is irrelevant. How is this “educating” anyone? We’re ALL dealing with this shit, not just YOU. It’s just not cool to come on here and slam a reputable vendor like Craig for reasons that may be beyond his control. Post this on the Maverick forum and see how many people jump on your ars...

Is there’s anyone else that wants to jump on the “let’s slam Craig” bandwagon while we’re in the middle of a pandemic? Ridiculous....

Ridiculous and irrelevant to you but not to me and he is FAR from a reputable vendor IMO. Sharing my experience because I don't like being lied to, that is all I did.....you shared yours which contradicts mine. Saying it was all about ME is not correct.....merely sharing an experience.....just like if you shared a favorite place to ride...Anyway, enough said, I wasted enough time with you. Enjoy your KRX and all the parts you buy from them. Cheers and now I'll have that beer you suggested earlier. Have a great night.

Sorry this happened. EMP sent us a notice that these roofs were available, so we put them up on the website. We got the information from the EMP website to post it on our website (where else would we get it?). Shane ordered it from us on June 8th and we put the order in (EMP Checkout Confirmation - Order #2215512). EMP sent us tracking number on June 9th (393693456448). We refunded Shane on June 17th when he requested it. We asked EMP if we should pull the item from the Pro UTV Parts website on June 17th. The only response we received from EMP was that they had cancelled the order. We are sorry this happened. EMP prints a tracking number as soon as the order is received. EMP sends the tracking out right away even if they have not shipped the product. As for why the tracking indicated the roof was out for delivery I do not know. FedEx as had some problems since Covid hit. That is our side story.

Sorry this happened. EMP prints a tracking number as soon as the order is received. We put tracking with an order as soon as we get the number. Here is the EMP confirmation number from June 25th (emp Checkout Confirmation - Order #2217515). Here is your tracking number (394244570110). EMP sends the tracking out right away even if they have not shipped the product. I called EMP after your text and they told me it would ship that day. I just got off the phone with EMP today (7-1-20) and they (EMP representative told me not to use his name or I would post it) told me your plate would ship today. All of our customers are very important. That is why we spend so much time getting back with people and answering texts and emails. That is our side of the story. We are here to help. The Covid 19 ordeal has made life tough for everyone. EMP included as well as Pro UTV Parts. This is Craig from Pro UTV Parts. If we screw it up we own it. Sorry for the problem. We are working to fix it.

Many thanks to our customers from the Maverick forum for pointing us in this direction to try and resolve the issue.

Craig at Pro UTV...much appreciated explanation, I wish you would have shared that with me when I contacted you, but nevertheless you did share it and my public apologies to you.
