I’m doing the tractor supply box mount and when pulling the bed pan I came across this. What is it for?

Engine vent breather. Shoud relieve crankcase pressure. That's my guess, anyway.

Kawi just list it as a breather. It connects the lines off both heads to the main. I'm guessing it helps collect any oil mist and lets it drain back is the reasoning for the strange shape.
