Finished up on a great project, really happy how it all turned out, and this thing sounds absolutely awesome! This set-up is loud and the bass hits nicely. In fact it sounds better with the Samsung tablet running iTunes than my Apple products (iPhone or iPad) because you get so much more audio control on the Samsung Tablet.

Here is a list of the parts:

• JBL 4100 Sound Bar
• Infinity SM1 Subwoofer w/ remote gain control (underseat, car application)
• Samsung Tab S6
• Deranged Off-road KRX face plate w/ Tablet shelf

Yes it’s impressive, especially for its size!
I don’t want something that takes up any space and this is a perfect solution. The cool thing is if you want even more bass, you can buy another one and put it behind the drivers seat.

I work for an electronics company which owns all of these brands (JBL, Infinity, harman/kardon) to name just a few - let’s just say I know a little bit about audio... I could have put in a 2 voice coil 10” or 12” sub running 300-400 watts to it with a custom enclosure. It would certainly out-perform this under-the-seat sub, but at a huge cost of space and additional weight.
