For those that have the tusk spare carrier how do you like it? Did you get the scissor Jack with it? How well does it work and does it rattle? Looking at this cause I don't want the Kaw one and have been happy with the Tusk tailgate so far.

Works great, no rattling. Definitely get the one with the jack combo.

Great unit. I didn't get the jack combo. However, my son bought me the jack for Christmas. Haven't heard any rattles out of it. I did use an old atv hand grip (couldn't find any old fuel line) and slid it over the support rod to ensure it wouldn't rattle or come loose.

LOL. Glad you are the one who has to clean that mess. Still bet the jack would be pretty clean tucked up under the spare. I've thought about carrying mine in my storage box just to clear up the rear view through the mirror. However, I'm used to it being there now so it will likely just stay there.

So those of you that have the Jack have you tried it? Will it get the machine high enough to change the tire.

I can change the rear tires with it but need to figure out how to do the front

You have to jack under the trailing arm or the A arm

Yeah front a arms just slip on the jack. Was thinking of making a little saddle bracket (for lack of a better term). To fit on bottom of a arm close to the outer end.

Can you run a 35 inch spare tire on the tusk spare tire holder and not cause a issue with a back windshield? I have the super atv rear windshield.
