With the type of service roads and trail riding we do here in AZ, I’m trying to get some feedback from people on what they’re running for tires from stock?
I plan on moving up to 32” from the stock 31” “off size” OEM that comes on the machine, what’s your thoughts on replacements??? Thanks! 🍻

I upgraded to 32X10X15 Tusk Terrabite 10. I have had Tetrabites on my last 3 machines and they wear great here in Southwest Az. Most of my friends use them also. They aren't the greatest in sand but in 4 wheel drive they are fine. The mounted tire on a stock rim is 62.5#.

Cool. How do they hold up in the wear department?
I had them for 4 thousand miles on a RZR XP and the rear had about 1/3rd of the tread left and the fronts were down to half. I would have got 6000 out of the tires but I sold it at 5000 miles. We are almost 300 pounds heavier with the KRX but I would expect 5000 with a tire rotation when the rear are down to 1/3 of the tread left.

Rotate them tires.

Thanks sandman. I’ve herd good things about the BFG’s, but want to hear about other brands and get peoples feedback.

I’ve had good luck with Sedona rip saws on quads, but have friends who run Sedona rock-a-billys on their SxS with good luck and good wear, where in AZ are you ?

I know you saw Craigs post, but here is a reminder if you decide on what I would consider to be the best tire for your environment.

"Big price increase is coming for BFG KM3 July 1. Get the tires now before they go up!"

Currently $210 each. He didn't say how big the increase is going to be, but they have already gone up $10 since the first of the year.

The System 3 RT320 looks like a pretty good choice as well. I don't know how true to size they actually run. If they run small, they also offer a 33" to keep you in the 32" neighborhood. Maybe @Sandman_73 can shed some light on that for us. I think they would be my choice of tire if I couldn't get the BFG's.

My wife would shoot me in the face with a bazooka if I buy anything more for my buggy right now!!

Doesn't matter the weapon, it's the aim and accuracy that is critical. I got the "roll the eyes" from the wife when my new kawi rear trailing arm guards just showed up last night.

System 3 RT320 sounds perfect for the conditions you described. Can't beat the price either.

If you shop around you could find some really good deals occasionally tire shops or even dealers will have a blowout sale. I picked mine up for $140 a piece, they run around 210 retail. Brand new never mounted. Stickers still on them.

Maxxis has just come out with a new UTV tire as well. The Maxxis RAZR XT. Similar to the KM3 in that it is a 43lb, 32-10-15 steel belted radial with a more rounded profile vs a wide, flat profile like the Carnivore. However, as with most Maxxis tires, they are spendy.
