So how are you liking the new tires? I have a set of their 33's coming Tuesday.
STI X Comp A/T 33x10-15snoking what tire you getting?
And you broke the back bead loose how?I really like mine. Haven’t used them on trails, but around the house and on road is what I ordered them for. They are doing great. They were hard to mount but that’s all. The bead is slightly thicker and the stock headlock bolts would just barely catch at first. I used a couple longer bolts to slightly compress ring and then installed factory bolts. They compressed and torqued fine with plenty of threads catching. I just didn’t want to try to initially compress the ring with only 1 thread catching and pull a thread or anything
Like this one?Bead breaker
Yes, that’s the one I have. I use a ratchet strap around the tire to hold them together. Sometimes they want to spread apart when pressing on the handleLike this one?

Thanks for that info. I'm sure someone will be asking about the weight sometime.I had to remove a front wheel today and took the opportunity to weigh it before putting it back on. Right at 80 pounds! System 3 XTR 370’s in 35x10x15. 1500 miles, about 50% tread left. Love these tires but I might go with something less heavy next time.
Go with maxxis liberties in a 32. Literally no performance drop compared to the carnivores. That’s a great lookin tire.OK, got the STI X Comp A/T 33x10-15E mounted. Going to leave 36 PSI in them over night and check pressure in the morning before our ride. Breaking the breads was the most time consuming part. Torqueing the bread locks was the second most effort. I like the looks for them.
Did a little spin around the RV resort and they did not fall off. Trailer is going to be even tighter. I had 2" on each side, now it will be about 1" inch on each side.
Tires and well weight in at 69.7 lbs. Tires weight in at about what the OEM tires and wheels weighed.
