Cool! Barnwell is pretty easy for me to make usually since it’s nearby. Got my fingers crossed about getting out to crossbar before May and we got a nice long trip already booked for Mulberry July 4th week.

Is crossbar near Barnwell and is it larger riding area?

Crossbar is near Davis Oklahoma. Not sure where your located at but it’s an awesome place to ride and so far one of my favorites… waaayy bigger than Barnwell.
Definitely worth trying to make a trip to if everyone tries to get together again and go. Tons of fun. There is a casino/hotel within a few miles that we stay at, has a big parking lot to accommodate a trailer and has an ihop for breakfast.
If you like rocks, it’s got plenty of those!

Honestly it's about the same drive time going to Davis Oklahoma then to San Marcos as it it is going to Gillmer TX then to San Marcos. I'm in Marysville Ohio. Trailer is a big thing. Which riding area is better for a 36 ft enclosed trailer?

I would say either one, they both have large open areas and are easy to get in and out of with large trailers. Look them both up online and see if one stands out to you. To be honest I like Crossbar better, if I was only going to be able to do one that would be where it would be. Nothing against Barnwell it has its own interesting things but since its in the heart of east texas and only an hour away from me all I see is more pine trees and red dirt where is Crossbar is way different looking than home.
David, we have Barnwell next weekend 14-15 so let’s do Crossbar feb 18-19. Those are both government holiday weekends for me

Cool, I'll check to see if we have volleyball next weekend, if not, I might be able. Crossbar will be touch and go until we can get out of tax
season... no holidays for us until April 15th lol! hahaha
I wasn’t aware of anything out there.
They have apparently added a SXS track to the MX track.
Cool. There is also Northwest OHV in Bridgeport. We’ve been there once and there are a few decent trails but Crossbar is by far the best in this area.
Yeah, I've been to Northwest OHV...It was cool to visit once.
We are planning on getting there around noon
We want to head to Disney before the year ends. RRMT doesn’t seem suited for sxs but used to enjoy it on our 4wheelers
