I'm attempting to understand how the dual rate spring set up is supposed to work. I think that when the suspension compresses the tender spring should compress until the crossover ring stops it allowing the main spring to start compressing. Is this correct?
On my machine with the stock springs when I rock it side to side and watch the springs the tenders don't compress at all, just the mains.
