I’m in search of a tablet mount for the upper center console. (The center pocket will be used for radios.) Anyone have any ideas or sources for aftermarket stuff??

They make a nice one for the Can Am’s, but haven’t found anything for our buggies.

You talking about the top hatch area? I can't think of anything enclosed I've seen, but I suppose you could slip an L-bracket into the top of the main pocket area to have your tablet rising above your radio.

Yeah. I’m thinking that would be an ideal spot to have a mount for a tablet. My buddy has an X3 and they make a nice one for his.

Came across this one the other day, mounts differently from what you're wanting. It's from ABC Motorsports, they don't have it on their website yet but I like the looks of it.

That has some potential. It looks like you can still use the O $h!t handle, it’s just removed for the pic.

Kind of entertaining something like a smaller S7 type tab in the dash left hand drivers quardant as my "navigator" pretty much hates all things electronic. Been wanting to try this (see screen shot) and Waypoints Navagator.

Lifetime Trail Maps has a mounting system sourced mostly from RAM Products. Very solid. Mounts to the grab handle Receiver, fully adjustable, and has a locking cradle for you tablet. Been using this system for 3 yrs. Works Great!

I was wondering if any of you use Gaia GPS? I've been using their topo maps and USFS maps for a couple years now and they've been great. Many other map layers available too. I use a Samsung Tab A with RAM mounts in my 2 door Tahoe when we're out offroading. Haven't used it in the KRX yet. How does it compare to what you're using?

Maybe a dumb question from a newbie, but why Samsung tabs? I have a bunch of older iPads, couldn’t they work as well

Not sure about the IPad. I purchased the tablet loaded with their download. It has all the trails in the US (their claim). If you can find an app that will work with your Apple device(s) this cradle works really well. I like that I can leave my tablet locked in the cradle ad go into a store or restaurant/bar on the trail and not have to worry to much about some low life stealing my stuff.

Lifetime trail maps doesn’t work on iPads.. lifetime trail maps is just the easiest system to use. You can buy a Samsung tablet and then just buy the lifetime trail maps app.
Or.. you can use your iPad but you’ll have to run and figure out how to use Gaia. One of the guys I ride with does this and I like that system better. But I’m not a tech guy and he is.
