I am looking to replace my belt soon and keep the old one as a spare.

Any suggestions on what’s best from the aftermarket selections or should I stick with OEM?

Most of my riding is done on slow trails and lots of hills with some on road driving to get to the trails

I have a nice new Badass belt in my storage box. Trying to convince myself that it's worth changing out the OEM belt to run it.
Everything I’ve been reading about leads to a far superior compound in the BA belts vs the OEM.
The simple fact that there is less wear on clutch surfaces using that belt, is a perfect excuse for you to change it out.

I already have a spare OEM belt, so I’m waiting to put a few more miles on the one that came with the buggy, before pulling it and buying a BA one to put in. I clean my clutch housing pretty much after every ride, so I’m keeping an eye on those clutch surfaces.

I know on my Maverick I tried several brands of belts and had the best luck with OEM. But there never seemed to be an issue of grooving the sheaves on that machine. But On my krx I changed it to the badass belt after talking to josh at RCOR extensively about it on the phone. He's logged alot of miles on there krx. I asked him if he had to choose between changing the belt or doing his weights which he would do. He said hands down get that hard a** belt off of there.
