Speed UTV = Unicorn...

I have read the car should be released any day! I have also read that it is unproven technology and why would you want to be part of the R&D team. No parts network etc.When you say unicorn you don't believe it will actually happen I suppose. It looks good in the vids and on paper but If there aren't any real ones ones who knows.
I see pricing all over the map...is the base $30K? I understand folks have different perspectives on everything...cars, houses, women etc. I cant understand 30-50K on a utv either buying new or upgrading. I would buy a rubicon jeep and be done. Makes the world go round!

Well, I use to think the same about the jeep. I’ve had and have several including a rubicon on 35’s. And then I bought a sxs and have 25-30k into a pioneer. Then I bought the Krx and there’s just no comparison to a jeep or the Honda pioneer. I’d 10-1 prefer the Krx for actual trail riding. It’s sooooo much more fun. The jeep has its place but it’s just different and won’t do what the sxs can. I still think the prices for some of these sxs are outrageous but there was a time I couldn’t imagine and wouldn’t spend 15k on a “toy”. Now that’s just laughable... with that said. I haven’t and won’t spend 50k on a sxs when I can spend 20k and have a Krx that is awesome. There are some things I like about the speed but again.. it’s all hypotheticals at this point.
I have watched every episode of RG's presentations, and on paper, and by the spec's it is going to be a great machine. The design is head and shoulders above the rest. Execution remains to be seen. For all those waiting, I hope they can hit the ground running, and not have teething problems.
I have watched some the episodes and read about the car. I have no need for it, nothing about the car that is worth 35-40 K to me. I suppose the same logic translates to a corvette...I just don’t have a need for it, my RAM truck is fine!
I think 1st of all they are freaking ugly as hell!!! and to me anything that has rg on it I will never buy period!!! All I can say is we will all see how these cars will hold up n we will all see how rg will stand behind his product!!! All the parts ect are the company speed parts!!! We will all see when these cars break n they will truth will come out. The hardest & real R & D testing is not by speed employees its always the customers n always will be. For me l cannot wait for these speed cars to be released to the customers. There is no way there is a perfect off road machine out there even if u pay 35,000 to 40,000 for a stock sxs lol. I paid alittle over $19,000 otd for my KRX and l took it over 3 to 5 ft washouts, pretty damn big hills n rocks. So far it goes anywhere l point it. Does it have a turbo nope, Does it have big HP nope and yet it goes everywhere l want it to go n for under 20,000. And l have 6,000 trouble free miles well except for them lousy clutch weights l had to throw that in lol. Yes now in the dunes yes the speed car would kick my azz. But where l ride is in the rough stuff the krx would hold its own against the speed car, Because u sure do not need the turbo n big HP n a huge price tag where l ride. Just a good strong built car. I would love to see someone that buys a speed car and do some rides with the blown budget guys to really see how the car holds up n what it can do. Them guys are nuts lol. But anyway its going to be interesting for sure. Again l cannot wait till they come out!!! And if it does turn out to be n awesome machine in all conditions it will make all the other brands step up with their products. And the prices will start around 32,000 to 34,000 from what l hear, And after the 1st ones are gone then the price will jump a couple of thousand. King of hammers is another good testing ground. For the people that are going to be buying these cars l sure hope u have good luck with them. Too me 35,000 to 40,000 is way to much to gamble on a sxs. I will stick with my slow $20,000 dollar KRX!!! Just saying.

Unicorn is his new truck design. I hope he's unbelievable successful, the big 3 oh 2 will have to step up.

I'm intrigued by what he's trying to do and wish him the best. But I don't think I would be a willing beta tester for $40,000.
