So my issue is with the front bar on the driver's side. Anyone have an idea how to repair this? The front bar connects to the bar that runs along the top of the soft upper made by Kawasaki. The pivot point where the 2 bars meet are joined with a bolt and nut through 2 halves of this hinge. Well the hinge on the front bar broke now the upper bar saggs because there is nothing to support it. I called a Kawasaki dealer but there isn't a parts breakdown for the doors so no parts to order. He said my only choice would be to buy new uppers lol. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Drill it out and add a long course thread screw.

Fab the entire piece, Get some AL round stock, drill tap for an end....might have make that to...look in the camper sites. If you can extract that screw, fab the end piece. Flat bar, drill hole , shape and weld to a bolt that will tread in there.

That piece has to be able to rotate. Search for specialty fastners for maybe rv awning???? If you find it please post it. I have the cab kit and immediately noticed how stressed that part is. I bet a lot of people will have your same problem as time goes by.
