I tried a couple times but I haven't been able to get anybody from Shock Therapy to return my calls or email regarding springs/suspension upgrade. It's rather disappointing, but I'm still interested in these spring kits. With all the info they ask for when ordering, it seems to imply the spring rates are based on all those factors and not just a one size fits all approach. ie, standard rate or heavy rate like say Bandit. Is this a correct assumption?

You would be correct.

ST takes all that info into account when ordering a spring kit from them, and builds the kit to match the riding style, and the weight of the buggy.
