Hey Guys!

The ol’ girl has been under the knife lately. I got a call the other day from VooDoo RR that just relocated from Wyoming to St. George, UT. Layne asked if I would be interested in lending them my KRX so they could come up with a KRX design. I told them that I wanted to keep as much of the OEM stuff as possible but still wanted a lower profile cage. Not only is the cage stronger, but it will fit my 1/2 windshield and my Kawi speaker pods. Let me know what you think and what color would you powder coat this thing?

I may powder coat the bead locks or the wheels too. I am looking for suggestions. I may just black it out like my Raptor is.

I kind of like the white cage with white bead locks too....was just messing around with my iPad and Apple Pencil.

That looks great. What tires? What's BITD legal mean?

The cage was custom built by Epic 4x4. They don't sell them unfortunately. The design is awesome. BITD is "Best in the Desert" off road racing. SCORE and BITD have specifics on materials and design for cages used by vehicles in there races. Stock cages are not acceptable. If a cage is tagged legal by one of these organizations, it will be acceptable by most other racing clubs in the country. I am currently building my KRX to be able to participate in BITD races.

Why do I see success with the krx in the BITD but not much success in the ulra4 racing? I like and try to follow both but I really like the coverage ultra4racing does, specially king of the hammers.
