I'm 6'4" and would like to be able to slide my seat back more. Looks like there's a lot of room where it could be moved back further. Any mods anyone has done or advice? Thanks. I'm a noobie. First sxs.

I you find a solution to be able to move your seat back you won't be able to put click 6 harnesses in your machine. The standard seat sliders move the seat right upto the harness bar. I'll include a picture.

I had the seats out so I could add 1" spacers so I would sit higher. I can't remember how everything went together. You could look at the sliders and see if the seat frame could be mounted further back on the sliders.

I used two pieces of stainless 1.25x0.25 flat bar and moved my driver seat back about 1.75 inches. I unbolted the seat mount/ slider mechanism and bolted down the flat bar. Then drilled new holes in flat bar 1.75 farther back and reinstalled the seat. Works great.

Could you have gone back further

Could you have gone back further if you wanted? Looks like there's room to go back at least 3 inches (or more) before hitting the plastic.

I move mine back also. Used some 1.5 x 1.5 angle first. mover it back about 3 inches. That was way more than enough. Im 6'3" and the problem you will find going that far is the steering wheel is hard to reach without leaning forward. Now I have one I made out of 1" square tube. raises and moves seat back 2.25". I like this mod better. I sit up higher so legs dont have to bend as much so I need to be back as far. I can post or send pics if you need them.

I used a 1-1/2" square tube and moved the seat up and over 2" towards the door. Im 5'10 with the seat all the way back my leg isn't rubbing on the console, my left leg isn't so crunched up from the too high of a foot rest and now have room for a small jump seat between the seats. As for the harnesses I purchased the quick snaps from Dragon fire and bolt hook loops into the large frame member. howdy 🤠
Just joined and this thread is really interesting, i’m 6’7” and thinking i’ll need about 4” more on the flat bar, do you think it’ll be strong enough to support jumps and weight shifting?
also what screws and lengths you used? Did you paint the bars to prevent rust?
appreciate any help.

For those of you with krx 1000s. I am making and selling new seat brackets they bolt in. Take maybe 10 minutes and will raise the front of your seat 1.25 inches and allow it to go back another 3.5 inches. Makes the ride so much nicer for us big and tall guys. Pm me for more info.
They are cnc cut from .25 in steel and when finished over .5 inches thick at the back and 1 25 at the front. I will guarantee them for life. They also support your entire seat track to ensure you don't bend it. Uses factory holes and no mods needed seat still works the same.
50.00 per seat. Plus shipping

Guys,
I went with Cory’s frame, great price and amazing results, got myself enough room that i don’t even slide it all the way back!
ships quickly and made to high standards, well worth it!
