I went to Renegade Ridge in Bloomingdale Ohio with my brother in law today for their first event of the year. Perfect weather. It was a great time. Lots of cleanup to do. Like clockwork, 20 minutes in the check engine light came on and L and F flashed. Thats three straight rides at the beginning of the day. It shuts off after you shut the machine off and cycle the key twice. I rode 45 more miles after and it never came back on.

I have always been curious about this place as I live near bye. Is it just open for certain events? Are the trails mainly just mud holes and flat areas? I mostly ride in wellsville just wondering if it’s similar

They are just open certain weekends. They’ll throw a bonus weekend in from time to time. It’s pretty relaxed. It’s nowhere near as hilly and steep as wellsville. It’s basically a big loop. There are multiple ways you can go on the loop to get around traffic and there are hard areas in some places too that are clearly marked. It’s all one way trails. Depending on the route you choose, a loop is between 15 and 18 miles. You don’t have to get nearly as muddy as I did. We were just screwing around a lot yesterday being goofy. I enjoy it there. Occasionally you get a traffic backup but mostly the pace is decent once it spreads out.

Man, that mud would make my pressure washer cry. Let my 13 YO grandson take the KRX for a spin. He now knows what speed "not too fast" is when crossing a stream. I'm glad I left the drain plugs out. Fricken tidal wave (as in couldn't see anything but water) wall of water in the front. Looks at me and nonchalantly says perhaps that was a little too fast? A memory we both will never forget.

I'm wondering if yours will stop doing that when the weather changes some more. Neither of the KRX's in our camp did it until last trip but it was the first time it was was 40ish when we started. It always been much colder or hotter on other trips, it's my first spring with the machine.

It was low to mid 40’s all 3 times. I heard some people say theirs went into limp mode. Mine drove totally normal the entire time. I wasn’t in a place I could pull over right away. I rode it probably 3 miles before I stopped. I even switched into 4wd twice. No issues. I think it’s just a confused computer.

Sweet ride pics, thanks for sharing!

I’ve not had the CEL and of course hate to say that. 458 miles, 52 hours. Definitely some 40 degree riding. Keep us posted I’ve followed Jraoffroad’s thread too.

Wow my average speed matches my average speed on the X2. Guess those 35” tires didn’t hurt that.
