I have taken the time to rent several different models of Polaris vehicles over the years and was always hoping that I could get one in the future. Well 2 days before Christmas my sent me to a power sports dealer saying I was approved for a Yamaha but I could go and pick out whatever I wanted. I had every intention of going out and getting a NA Polaris 1000 XP but when I got to the dealer and saw the KRX1000 and sat in it I was in love:love:.

I think I spent about 3 hours in my car outside the dealer doing a cram session on videos and reviews to find out all the good and bad about the KRX and was even more sold than when I first saw the beast. For me, I like to do it all, rock climbing, dunes, forest trails, and wide-open desert bombing. I now have a blue KRX1000 and just got back from a southwest trip from Sacramento CA to Logandale trail, Mojave/Barstow run, and a stopover in Dumont dunes on the way back to put the machine through its paces.

I am so happy with my purchase and would love to get out there with other KRX owners in the near future to do some wheeling. Looking forward to exploring and seeing what else everyone else is doing to their machines. See you all out there

Welcome. I predict you will be happy with your new KRX. There are more than a few love at first sight stories with these machines. I had a Honda in for service when I saw my first KRX. It was

Walked up to store owner and said I want!

I got mine from Roseville Powersports. They tried to push a YXZ on my wife when she was shopping for me but I really don't like those. They were friendly enough and all but they are a dealer. Cant say anything bad as they didn't try to upsale a whole bunch of stuff. You can find them much cheaper and do everything online if you are willing to drive down to southern California to pick it up.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your awesome KRX.
I was just the opposite. When I saw my first KRX at the dealer, I didn't like it. After several days of research, I decided that I probably should have one, and shortly afterward, BOOM! :)

If you ever get to Sparks/Reno NV I would love a ride in a KRX. Gas, lunch is on me. We ride at Moon Rocks if you are in the area. Thank you

Gonna be a while until I cross over that way. But, I will let you know when I head that way. I usually don't cross over the Sierra Nevada until spring as there are plenty of places for me to ride around here. I even live 1 mile down the road from Hangtown MX track and OHV park if you're familiar with Motocross, so I go down there once a week to rip it and try out different rock crawling lines on the Ultra4 racecourse. Its kinda like having KOH in my back yard:cool:

Im 10min from PC/Hangtown. But we dont ride there much. Quick trip if I need to test something out. We do lots of riding out of Johnson Lane (Minden NV). Much prefer riding NV over CA.
