Just thought I would share my stereo set-up for anyone interested. I paired 6.5" Kicker marine coaxial speakers mounted to the kick panels with a Soundstream water resistant amp.

I've built quite a few home theater speakers (my other hobby) and had plenty of 1/2" baltic birch plywood scraps that I used to make some boxes for the speakers.

I mounted them with 1/4-20 stainless bolts through the back of the box and metal kick panel secured with stainless nylock nuts. We'll see how they hold up to the elements. I can easily throw another set together if they get damaged.

I installed the amp behind the switch panel and secured it with some industrial strength velcro. It has built in bluetooth so I just paired my tablet that I already had for navigation... No need for a head unit. Since I'm only using the front channels it's not drawing much power so I used the factory provided accessory power that's right there. If I add rear speakers I will also run a power cable to the battery at that time.

It sounds pretty good and has nice stereo imaging with the speakers mounted where they are. Definitely better than the MB Quart system that came with the RZR that I traded in on the, much better, KRX.
