Useless? My eS shocks go for $900 each USED. Anything to protect them is golden.

While I don't run those shock covers I do run shock covers and they help out a lot. I hate mud but you are going to get some in your shock bodies if you ride east coast, I can ride 100"2 of trail miles and then take the cover off to show clean (just dusty) shock bodies. If the mud gets in between the springs and the shock body it is just like sandpaper and files.

Got my ebay shock covers installed

VERY happy and please with them. Clearly marked front and rear heavy denier fabric with dye finish graphics. Wide 2" velcro strip allowed me to wrap over the front limit straps with only a small gap up top that I'll keep my eye on.

For $~85, it's a great deal for my riding environment keeping my Electronic eS shocks protected.
