I pick up my new KRX in a week and at the recommendation of a friend (X3 owner) my plan is to use the Onx Offroad app. Does anyone know of a decent tablet mount? I saw the nice DIY "license plate" mount in the forums but if it's possible to buy something ready-made I'd prefer to do that as I want to be up and running when I take delivery. I'm hoping for something that will hold a 10 tablet but would consider something smaller if needed.

Tablet mounts

I’m in search of a tablet mount for the upper center console. (The center pocket will be used for radios.) Anyone have any ideas or sources for aftermarket stuff?? They make a nice one for the Can Am’s, but haven’t found anything for our buggies.

Which GPS to go with?

How can you guys tell on those maps what’s private vs public? With onX it is outlined, annotated (at certain magnification scales), and shaded slightly different. Personally, I think the Lifetime does a slightly better job from the examples I've seen. onX sreenshot below shows BLM, Utah...

I-Pad dash mount

I installed the stereo face plate and trimmed the top down about 3/16”. Installed a piano hinge at the bottom and Velcro the tablet to it. I just need to figure out a way to trim around it now so it looks factory installed. But here is what I have for now.

If you’re looking for rock solid mounts, Ram mounts would be my choice.

And go with all “C” sized 1.5” components. Here’s a 10” Samsung in a case in a lockable mount for 10” tablets in cases. Rock steady.
