Yes it is the factory shaft. But it has been modified for the larger bearing. This kit comes as is ready to bolt on in 15min or less.
Wouldn’t the factory drive shaft be the weak point if you reinforced the ends but not the shaft? I have beaten the absolute crap out of my machine in mud, sand, everything, when I mean beaten I’m talking 4wd lock, buried and floored bouncing off the rev limiter. No breaks whatsoever.

The factory shaft is strong that is not the weak point. The weak point is the coupler. Well if you ever break yours I have plenty in stock.
