I’ve seen some folks complaining about those mounts coming off due to tree branches.

Must of not tightened them down enough. It’s next to impossible to get them out, unless of course they’re ripped out by force.

I retract my comment about the EMP bolts failing. They failed. The rubber came apart.

Yea that’s what I’m gonna do, I really didn’t want to buy the tool. But I did manage to find a great deal on Amazon for $40. Includes tool and various sizes of rivnuts. This is one of those tools I’ll probably use once!

I remember that post, sorry to hear that. Mine ripped out from just riding around. It’s a matter of time but they will fail.

That’s the one I got. Works great. Just pick up a kit of different size stainless rivnuts and you’re good to go. You’ll be surprised where you’ll be using them.

I am looking to go with Extreme LED lights for my KRX, for the roof light bar I wanted to do the Slim Amber/White bar but they don't have a 40", it would be either the 44" straight or 38" straight or curved. What do you all think regarding fitment? Thanks in advance

Gotcha yeah I figured, so may go with 38 then...what are your thoughts on curved or straight for the 38"?

I don't want too much open/dead space on each side.

42" curved double row is what I run and suggest, I tried a single row 38 and it's light output was minimal.

If using EMP mounts they can bend a little. I run a 42 double row curved light bar. Couldn’t ask for more
