Hey all,

I have the White KRX and have a question about the light bar, to see if anyone else is doing something different as well.

Being I have the White unit, and I want to add the 38" light bar above windshield. I don't feel that using the Kawasaki green glow would work for me.

So my question is:
Does anyone have any ideas on light bars, brackets etc. That would work.

Standard (no glow, or backlit) cree low profile is what I would prefer. Just looking for thoughts and help in choosing right bracket, light, rocker switch etc..

Appreciate any help, thanks!

12" Auxbeam puts out all the light I need. It's about $25.

I have a MTX soundbar. Do not have the Alt. kit. Stock lights are pretty good. I plan to go small like some pods or a 12" and side pods n reverse light. Man is it hard see behind ya in dark...

I have green machine. With the kawi 38" bar and the 8" in front bumper. The 38 is very bright. The 8" in bumper not much use, headlights work better. With two 8" on rear roll bar because like Angus says very hard to see backing up. I always use white light, dont turn k glow on very often. I would do it again but probably pass on the front 8"

Great info Seamus. It seems Deranged pricing is even better then direct. Could we expand this string a little further. I would love to see what other ideas folks have for lighting. I am forgoing the Kaw green lights as well since I probably wouldnt use the green enough to justify the extra cost. I have had Nilights in the past and they work well. I would also like info on hooking them up. With my Wolverine i have to attach to the roll cage, but the Kaw seems to allow you to run the wires inside the roll cage. I am getting the radio and it appears that the connections are behind the dash where the radio goes. Any info on how are they are to connect or whether anything else is needed. Thanks

I’m shopping for light bar options now too. I also have a white KRX. I like the factory light bar mount because it seems to set lower then some. I would also like a thin single row light bar but don’t want the green glow. Not sure which direction to go yet

After lights installed...
All from package from above.
Front bumper and rear have white glow (riding light/daytime) and of course full on. IMG_20200505_073754388.jpg IMG_20200505_073727655.jpg IMG_20200505_073712751.jpg IMG_20200505_073645524.jpg

Mike, would you change anything? What brand are the mirrors? I am getting the deranged windshield as well and my seismic mirrors won’t fit.

What Seizmik mirrors do you have? I put a set on mine with the Deranged Off-Road glass windshield.

Hey

Mirrors are:

Would I change anything:
On the light package I would have dropped a 12 inch in front on front bumper,, as it would have fit across were mine is now currently. Other than that, no I'm super satisfied.
The Kawasaki light package was $1500 thru Kawasaki plus if you had someone installed cost is around $2000. I got and did all for $430. Keep in mind I didn't add the alternator kit. However I checked all with meter with all lights on, my battery went from 14v and dropped to 13.3... didn't feel alternator is needed at this time just for lighting.

As far as other accessories.. that's a different story would I change.

Yes I would have done "glass windshields" instead of rear and front poly windows, being that I have tinted both, glass would and will hold up better.

Seats, need to go as they are not stable and the slides are terrible.

Need bars were the hardest to install, and on a good ride they really cake up with dirt, making it a very dirty in and out...

Other than that (and the gas gauge) Love this dam machine!

I also had the white and did opt for the glow. At the time I got my machine there was no other aftermarket bar. I ordered the Kawasaki 38 inch brackets and retro fitted the KC Highlight pro-6 light bar across and it fit like a glove.
