Anyone get the Kawasaki surveys? I’ve received 2 from the dealer and 2 from kawi corporate. I grenaded all of them. Seems like I raised some eyebrows somewhere and they got me in for my front control arm/knuckle recall Saturday. Squeaky wheel gets the grease lol

I guess R&S hasn't change in all these years. I bought a 2003 JetSki from them that died at 20 hours do too a fuel injector failure. I found the fault prior to bringing it in and told them so. After six weeks of running tests, calling Kawasaki, and still not figuring out the problem on their own I told them to order the injector and put it in. If that was not the cause then I would pay them for the injector. Two days latter they called and said it was ready and running. I told them I would never buy anything from them again.

Most of the time it’s failure to diagnose the vehicle properly. That has been the case on mine. Appointments booked 3 months out never enough technicians, jr league staff, can’t return phone calls nor follow through. The list goes on and on. Kawasaki corporate will always take care of you, wish I could say the same about the dealers.

LOL got the big Kawi survey a few days ago, spent a lot of time filling it out, it locked up and wouldn't submit. Thinking it was designed by my selling dealer....probably one of their techs got into IT. 😂 A lot of interesting questions on performance, use, accessories, your experience with other brands, and what would you like to see in future products. Guess I don't get entered into the $500 gift card drawing.......don't care.

That sweepstakes is a scam. They never unannounce the winners. I’ve had over a dozen surveys now. I had it glitch in me too but I hit the button again and it worked. I was surprised what they were asking. Turbo? Supercharger? Space? Everything they already know they’re lacking. How about getting dealers up to par? That’s a start.

Guess In certain ways I'm lucky to have a small dealer. 3 people total. The owner is the salesman/parts guy, an they have one tech which is a really good mechanic, an one clean up/ delivery/ errand runner (the owners grandson). Didn't receive any surveys but I got a Christmas card from the owner an his wife lol.

Guess I should have clarified. It was the dealer that was going back and forth with Kawasaki trying to determine the problem, not me. They were hesitant to just install a $450 Fitch fuel injector under warranty, even though I had told them it was the number three fuel injector. As far as not buying anything from them, I meant the dealer(there's actually more to the story). That was my fifth Kawasaki, the first purchase from that dealership, and the only one I ever had an issue with. After replacing the fuel injector, I never had another issue with that boat. I am on number eight now(4 JetSki's, 1 dirt bike, 1 quad sport, and 2 Teryx's) and that was still the only issue I ever had.

I have yet to get a survey from Kawasaki. I do still get lots of stuff from Polaris....
Polaris is pretty good on follow through. I still get the "how come you didn't buy that RS-1 last year, the paperwork was approved and all questionnaire. Ahhhhh...I asked for a quote with the machine with tracks and you tried to gig me an extra $4k for the tracks? Than when I called you on it you lied about the horrendous install time ( saleslier actually said about 16 hours of labor 😂) .....to an old guy who does the tracks on his Pioneer twice a year in about 4 hours max by himself taking his time.

See i can appreciate your knowledge on tracks and you absolutely know the dealer was trying to scam you out of the labor time. I call them out if they try to rip me off. I’ve dealt with dealers so much I know every truck and lie in their books. Honesty is the best policy.

At the time $18k would have been a fair price, I would have done $19k. I was quoted $23k. A WTF call to the sales guy got the stupid labor cost excuse. That was an instant deal ender. I gave that response to the Polaris surveys I got and they kept sending them....perhaps hoping I would change my mind?

Our family has an acquaintance who is is a Polaris powersports dealer and he tries the same crap with us than gets butt hurt when we go elsewhere. Like as in won't talk to us for a year or so. LOL I went in to his shop a few years ago to buy some full face helmets for the grand kids (he was pissed we bought a Honda sxs even tho he doesn't do honda) and he was such a dick he forgot to process the charge and I got them for free. Interestingly, Kawasaki pulled his franchise a few years back.
