I'm running a factory windshield and I'm getting a ton of dust in the cab. looking at getting a rear wind jammer screen or a rear window to try to cut down on the dust. How much will the windjammer help with dust control? second option would be to remove windshield and replace with a 1/4 windshield and enjoy the breeze with no rear screen....any thoughts?

welcome aboard.. lots of posts on this subject. you will definitely going to need to run the full back windshield with the front OEM glass.. the seal kit mats under the seat as well. Plan to take the front glass off in the summer for Nevada and use a half or none. try it leaving the back one on that way or replace the back with a screen.

I wish somebody would just make a positive airflow roof to avoid this dust swirl problem. None of the vented windshield I have used stop the swirl. A rear helps but is not perfect.
Don't know if you have ever been around the Dirt Warriors windshield. (Got mine from Deranged Off-Road) With the vents open, the entire bottom of the windshield is open. The vent flaps help divert the air coming over the hood through the vent. It breaks the dust vacuum, and you can feel the wind in your face.

I think it takes a combo of things needed to keep the dust to a minimum in any side by side but for the krx.. here is what I found:
Seal up the floor and holes.. use the seal kit or rubber tool box liner under seats and insulate console front to back, foil back heater insulation found at the box stores with foil tape works great for this.. pipe insulate the heater hoses as long as your at it..
Factory mud flap flairs or aftermarket..big help here!
rear windshield is needed with the full glass front windshield especially with the factory one..a vented front glass not the plastic is preferred choice but if like me the factory full glass with wiper kit came in one of the packages I ordered so making it work I installed a roof vent to move some air behind the front and center of the cab that seems to hang there around 10 to 15mph.. all of this and my cab stays fairly clean now!
I will pull the full glass and install half glass front in the summer.. I use a rear wind screen on rear to cut down on back draft but will try leaving the rear glass on with no windshield or half and see how it works.. I read a post on one of the forums had a survey of what combo works best and most preferred back glass with no front... and don't follow so close to keep the dust out of your face helps to see where your going!
hope this helps see ya on the hill.
