Well I gotta say I was pretty excited to start putting all my new accessories on but that quickly changed. Not sure if it's just my bad luck but talk about poor quality and quality control. Front bumper and headlight guard is where it started..every and I mean EVERY welded nut had to be retapped because of weld drops or just no threads at all. It was all a poor fit.

Rear taillight guards the two piece clamps on the left side needed to be filed for about a 1/2 hour to fit together as they are suppose to.

The sport roof has metal clamps that screw to plastic... I mean what?

Kawasaki has always made the worst ROPS ever...thin as a fence post and so are the bumpers and guards which will be useless and snap like twigs if you hit anything. I don't understand how they can build such a heavy duty machine and put paper thin rollbars, bumpers and guards. Same thing with the original teryx... Junk cages!

Needless to say I'm not happy and will never buy another "genuine" accessories from them again.

I plan to buy an aftermarket cage and incorporate new front and rear bumpers into it with an aluminum roof. Giant waste of time and money.

End rant

Where did you purchase the accessories from? K direct or dealer? I would be pissed and taking it all back.
K direct... I would have returned it but since I had already started out of frustration they would have tried to say I messed it up. I am pissed... It is all total trash. I wouldnt give 20 bucks for this garbage if I had it to do over again.

I dunno what happened with your stuff, but I’d be on the phone with them Monday morning. I have their roof, front bumper, nerf bars and trunk, and besides the fasteners that hold the trunk in place, everything else went on no problem. They’re really good at standing behind their products.

And if you think the Rops on the Kawi are thin, go look at a Caned Spam. I’ve got tissues in my glovebox that are thicker then the steel on one of those.

At this point everything is on so i doubt they will do anything or compensate me for my time. What a train wreck it was and never again.

As far as the ROPS I had a mav trail 1000 and the cage was thin but I don't think as thin as kawi. You'd think with this heavy of a machine they'd beef up the ROPS and not sell shit accessories to go on it.

Some of their accessories are the best fit, their molded plastic.

Rear Tailgates
Fender Flares.

they follow the body lines.

Agree the brush guards are just that.
I can tell you that I won't pay another dime for anything from them. The only thing that was decent without needing me to modify it was the soft rear window. Tailgate wise I'm going with a tusk when they are in stock. Fender flares I'm undecided on because I'm not a huge mug guy even though I'm on the east coast. If I do get get them it will be aftermarket.

I agree they follow body lines but quality is cheap and quality control is worse. Hopefully this isn't a foresight for the machine (quality wise) itself because I loved both my original teryxs

The ROPS weight is overhead and I mean that literally. Compare it to a trailer with a single 4000 pound axle. They build the trailer to be as light as possible so as to maximize the carry capacity. All the ROPS has to do is pass the test. If they make it heavier it just reduces performance due to weight. A 25% overbuild would be nice.

I had a few fitment problems with the front bumper guards, the left side was higher than the right. I pretty much just sat my full weight on the side that was higher till it bent to proper height lol. 230lbs 6’2” will do that. Other than that I have a plethora of factory accessories and have al fit great. I would have returned all of it if I had those problems.
