Hey,

As mentioned in the title, what have you done to your krx1000 to squeeze out more engine performance? I’m interested to hear more about the mods that are under $1,000.

I know it will never be as quick as a turbo CanAm/Polaris, but I’m fine with that. I know it’s not a race car but a little quicker speed can’t hurt.

No rock crawling for me...more trail runs with some open space for speed.

Vforce John ecu I believe is $250 people say it makes a big difference. It’s in my plans for the next few mods. As well drilling out the cat on the stock exhaust to go with it. Free mod.

It’s not for the engine but, clutch weights will increase your acceleration. Right Coast Off road can set you up with a set for $350 I believe.

Yup.. VFJ S2 tune should be the VERY FIRST thing on your list if you’re looking to wake it up.

VFJ S2, RCOF clutch weights for 35s, CAT delete for now; MBRP still on BO. Checked spark plugs, they looked good. Rode about 60 miles yesterday on HMT. First ride since the above tweaks. Had some minor downhill deceleration popping in high gear, no BIG backfires. Did it all.. ran wide open down haul roads and crawled every black trail in both directions. Very happy with the $$$ spent for the Performance Gain.

Yes.. last I heard he just wasn’t doing them if you lived in CA.
