Title says it all. Got a little extra cash saved and the wife said to treat myself to some stuff for krx. I already have a winch, roof, stereo, cooler, back windshield, and the kawi wide mud flares and the rcor clutch weights, roof light bar, and whips.

Things I have considered are 35s, a gps, spring kit, exhaust and tune, after market cage, new seats and harnesses. Guess what I am asking is for the fellas that have the stuff I’m looking at which would you go with first. Want it all eventually.

This kind of applies to the topic. Does anyone else have a winch on the back of their KRX? When I was building mine I found a receiver hitch with a winch mount. I figure if I'm out alone (no moralizing please!) and I go off the road the front winch may only be able to pull me further off of the road. The rear winch was installed to pull me back onto the road instead of further away from it. Has anyone else done this or heard of anyone doing it?

Your list is too short, LOL
It’s missing front and rear bumpers (they can be used to pull you out I proved that already), nerf bar tree kickers, skid plates, trailing arm guards, a-arm guards, and I love the rear winch idea. Backup camera and rear lights are a must have for me. Front fog light down low a must have for WV trips.

I’m sure I’ve forgot something. Great thread!!!

(So far I’m not planning on a sound bar the machine is loud and I ride alone so noise canceling headphones work for me.)

Yup.. emp makes a mount for it.

FYI.. You can winch yourself backwards with the front winch and tackle blocks.

True. But it's a LOT easier to just run out the line, anchor it, and push the button. And it doesn't take five tackle blocks. I have, however, often thought there had to be a way to do that--thanks for posting the video showing how it works!

Thanks for all the input. Springs are definitely on the list, just not sure about bandit vs st. $96 just to ship the st springs from Arizona to Ohio, Bandit is less expensive, shipping would be cheaper, and I like the fact they never have to be adjusted. They just never have any in stock it seems. I think 35s also. I should have enough left for a vfj tune, how ever would y’all wait till you had the exhaust first. Or just core out the stock one before tuning.

Bandit springs - $500'ish
Core the stock exhaust - FREE
Trail Armor Belly Skids - $800'ish
Super Atv Frame Stiffener - $150'ish
Harness Bar - $180'ish
PRP Harnesses 5.3x2 - $350 (pair)
Tune - $300'ish
RCOR 5TH Point Attachment - $75'ish

A little over budget but if your wife is a good woman she will understand 😬

Recovery straps are designed to stretch and the come along might not be able to bring in enough to account for it. A tow strap that has minimal stretch would, I think, work better. If you can't get it out with two tons of pull I'm guessing you're pretty badly stuck! Most, well, many, UTV winches are 4500# which is only marginally more.
