Worth the wait. Easy install about an hour. WARN Axon goes on tomorrow View attachment 3414

Looks good. So it mounts where the winch plate mount would bolt down low. There was talk of a higher mount tearing the winch bumper off. Well those down low mounts hold the tow hook too. So those 2 bolts can carry some strength. If the right grade 8 bolts are installed. Looks like 6 hold this bumper on. Follow up after you get into a mess! I wish this was out when I done did.

The bumper has a mid plate that are the same size as the lower bolts. That mid plate is stout. Bolts go through where the lower plate would go. So you have 4 large mounting bolts for the bumper then the side bolts are just braces.

The stock Kawasaki with guards is nice too. Personally, I like the less busy look and a more accessible winch approach that HMF takes. I have heard they aren't as strong as the stock frame location.......I read the install instructions and it looks pretty well attached to me. Keep us in the loop as to how you like it. I wish they made a skid plate for the lower part. It doesn’t look too hard to fab one up tho.

Looks a little naked without the headlight guards 🤣
I don't know why nobody makes an aftermarket bumper with the brush guards as well. I know mine have saved my headlights and plastics numerous times. SuperATV makes a nice one for the Polaris General. Don't know why they don't do something similar for the KRX.

Definitely gives you options for which winch a person wants to mount. Looks good. Looks like you have the Axon?
Yep I went with the Axon for less wiring. I will be a little concerned with the headlights as my kawasaki bumper had them. But the kawasaki bumpers are very cheaply made. Wish I wouldn't have had them installed during the purchase. But I didn't know. Maybe I'll figure something out in the future for headlight guards. Or HMF will make a set to go on this one.

Cheaply made but they still provide a fair amount of protection. Sure seems like someone with a welder and a tubing bender and a few skills could fab something up for that bumper.

@SLVRBULLET40 looks good, can you tell us how far it sticks out? Maybe give us a reference point and measure from there. Also what size tires are those just to give me an idea. Thank for the help!
From the grill out it's about 8". Just measured this morning as others were asking on Facebook. I'm running the 32" KM3 tires. Really happy with their performance.

Too bad you don't live around here. I have a friend who took my design and turned it into reality, and ended up selling a bunch to other General owners. He could fix you up with anything you would want for a brush guard.
He did this by taking measurements, angles and good notes. The General was at my house while he actually built it, no test fitting and/or remeasuring. It fit perfectly.
