Anyone having issues with the gas gauge.

Fill up, ride for an hour or 2 and already 3 bars gone. Ride the rest of the day, get down to 1 flashing bar, go to fill up and am only able to pump 6 gallons.

Sure that the tank is 10.5 gallons.

My Can Am X3 is that way. Might be able to remove sending unit and bend the arm down to increase the level on the gauge.

yes I'm having same issue. thought I was outta gas and then only put 6.5 gallons in. that means I had 4 gallons left.
There's a bunch of guys talking about it over on the Teryx forum, and we're noticing it too. There's an email in the thread, and Kawie is saying it has to do with the design of the gas tank (?), Not sure, but its definitely a common complaint.

ANy ideas yet on fixing the messed up gauge? I now use a stick to measure gas once it is at 1 bar! Old school is the best.

I too am experiencing gas gage issues. Got it from the dealer, rode 20 miles, one bar. Took 2.7 gallons, only 3/4 full according to gas gage. Drove 13 miles, down to one bar. Is this covered under Warranty?
My buddy and I rode and did a fillup 3.5 gallons, gas guage showed 1/4 left and the cap blew off when unscrewing. We both ordered a valve from Tank and advised the dealer. I will take it when I go for my first service. Dealer Response- "Good to know. We haven’t had anyone mention the pressure in the tank yet, but I’m sure we will. My guess is the EPA has something to do with the way it was designed plus I don’t understand why Kawasaki and other OEM’s don’t use gas caps like the auto industry that start to vent when they loosened." FYI our local dealer is awesome.
Gas Gauges are like Women, hard to read and understand what they're really trying to tell yah !

I have also had the same issue. What works for me is half way on my ride I turn off the engine and I remove and reinstall the gas cap. Give it a burp. Gas gauge resets when I restart the engine.

In-Line Remote Rollover Vent Valve Both my buddy and I installed the In-Line Remote Rollover Vent Valve from tanks inc. by the dealer. We did not use the vent as the vehicle is vented already. See the You tube video in install.
It worked great no issues, gas gauge still a POS.
Most of the KRX riders have been saying they get about 100-110 miles per tank. I have been testing the their theory . I will let you know
I think thats about right, we carry 2 extra gallons. Mines in the shop a couple of warranty items, going to snow or rain here anyway..
