Going to buy a full front windshield. What's everybody's thoughts on which brand is the best. I'm looking at the following:
1. Kawasaki OEM windshield
2. Deranged windshield--with dual air flap adjusters
3. SuperATV vented windshield
4. EMP laminated glass with vents

Do you need to have a rear windshield?
Dust or noise difference?

thanks,

I have the superatv front half windshield. I couldn’t do the full windshield where I live. In the desert+cab heat I would cook to death.

have you looked at the flip up windshield from SuperATV? Closed when needed and then I got the aftermarket adjuster so I have 5 positions of adjustment on the window. I can understand a DOT windshield though for longevity.

I have a vented windshield for the krx new in the box if someone is interested. Has the MR10 hard coating on it as well. $469 new, I would let it go for $350 plus shipping. Still has the white film coating on it as well. Never installed.

I have the Deranged Off-Road windshield, and I love it. The vents provide enough air-flow that it keeps the dust from being sucked into the cab. Also, when fully opened, you can see the front of the machine, so your vision isn't blocked off when you hit the technical stuff.
See the short video to see what I mean.

I have both the front and rear windshield... fit and finish is far superior to any of the other offerings I’ve seen so far. Expensive but well worth the money.
If you buy a full front windshield, you better buy a rear also if you are riding in any dust. ( dirt or gravel) I purchase Kawasaki full windshield and my cab filled up with dust. so i immediately bought a rear and it helped alot.
I'm still on the fence about which one to get. I'm in the Southeast US, and I need the ability to move a lot of air through the cab in the summer months but also need a barrier from flash rain showers we get. I'd go with the super ATV flip up but am not a fan of poly-carbonate windshields.

I would check out the Dirt Warrior windshield that Derranged Offroad sells. I have it on mine and with the vented flaps up it feels like A/C while I'm not getting pelted in the face with sand. It's a glass windshield and they make a back windshield as well. Very good price!

Something is better than nothing. Still they have much better prices than kawi does. Kawi prices are ridiculous.
