Anyone have trouble with actually getting them to fit? Purchased the tow hook and the bolt threads didn’t go far enough to where the but would tighten and lock in the tow hook.

Bought the rear tailgate and one of the specialty bolts snapped on me with little torque to it.

cheap stuff for the hefty price.

I bought the standard tailgate. It had me download a video and instructions for the cargo tailgate. I am sure they're similar but the instructions were horrible. They never mentioned removing the body snaps to get the nut on. also wants me to drill a hole in an existing slot that would eventually wear out. I installed all the other h

Thise are some great photos , yea I noticed that with kawis video, the guy kinda just reaches under and is able to secure the nut and bolt. I couldn’t figure out how he did that. I just removed the 2 bolts on the lower side panel to get enough room to put my ratchet and socket in there. On another note Went back to the dealer and all of the other tow hooks had the wrong size bolts in them too. Isn’t this why you buy factory accessories? So stuff fits correctly? I have to drill out or find a way to get the rest of the broken bolt out from the tailgate. I’ll post pics when I have it all done.

I have seen that the fit and finish on the factory accessories are either perfect fit or just slightly off. For example we have 2 machines both needed the skid plates redrilled but in the opposite sides all the little spacers had to be drilled out and mounting holes also. The bumpers fit perfect but the headlight guards are off by 1/4 inch same with the rear light guards. The top of their quick mount is a joke and just looks sloppy. I really hope the tire rack has a flush look but after seeing how the other ones went on I’m not hopeful. I totally agree you buy factory products thinking that they are the easiest and cleanest installation but on these machines I’m being proven other wise.

Yea a little irritated cause dealers can’t order specific parts without contacting Kawasaki for everything taking days sometimes weeks to get an answer. Still looking for the adaptor bolts, have no idea where to source them from.
So I ended up making my own. I got a bolt and washer with a hex tube adapter. Seems to work out better than stock. If anyone shears one off I’ll be glad to point you in the right direction.
After 3 dealers and a call to Kawasaki. Kawasaki sent me the proper “adaptor bolts”. I’m thankful for that! I just wish parts were readily available. Every dealer I talk to is the same answer “ we have to call Kawasaki” for a part number
I am glad you guys got your parts. i ordered my protection package 7 weeks ago and still can not get an answer when I can expect it.
So far I have only put on Kawasaki brand accessories on mine and everything fits like a glove. All the hardware is quality too.

I wish I could say the same for my ProXP. I have had to bend, grind, and cut things to properly fit.
