Just thought I would share with everyone on here that Big Pine Sports in Utah is offering Kawasaki 3 yr extended warranty for 800 bucks till the end of this month! I am not affiliated with them as I am from Ohio. I found him on YouTube and it is legit as I purchased it and was able to go to Kawasaki website and see it was added. Its a crazy deal since they cost 1700 normally. He told me the sale ends at the end of the month.

Glad I got mine from the dealer I purchased my machine. Looks like 💩 is hitting the fan!
It looks like all the warranties purchased outside of the dealer you bought the machine from, are completely valid at any Kawasaki dealer.

Basically, this change of selling warranties to anyone (even though you bought your machine elsewhere) is pushback from dealerships (where you bought your machine) loosing money to other places selling the warranties cheaper. Overhead in one part of the country is less expensive then, say a big city dealership. That’s why you see differences in pricing on the same warranty.

Glad I got my warranty from Jared when I did. So now, your only option for a factory extended warranty is through your selling dealership. Well, hello, price gouging!

Most of them were price gouging already anyway. That's why Dealers offering them at a decent price got all the business. Aftermarket warranties will benefit from this.

Damn. My factory warranty doesn’t expire until mid-July. I was putting off the expense of the extended warranty from Big Pine until July 1.

I guess I’ll take the chance on no warranty. I’m not paying $1575 from my dealer in Hickory, NC.

It’s really all a load of horse shit!! Kawi has ZERO business telling the consumer where they can and cannot purchase their warranty. They’re raising the price of the warranty on the dealers to limit some of the undercutting. And I understand the dealers were bitching.. but screwing the consumer to appease others isn’t a solution. I suggest everyone stop buying the extended warranties and use that $1500 to fix any of your issues with aftermarket parts. There’s nothing saying the dealership would accept your warranty issue anyway. Some dealers suck and we don’t discover that until after purchase. I think this was a real dumbass move!

Ok, I agree and disagree. The bottom line is, you don’t have to buy s&$t! But… Given what people put these machines through, is it really that far of a stretch to pay $1000 to $1500 for 3 years of worry free repairs? Sure $800 bucks is better, but you’re undercutting the dealership (in the demographic area) that you bought the buggy from.
I paid a $1000 bucks for mine, and I’d gladly do it again. We all know Kawasaki stands behind their customers and takes care of us! Why not protect the dealerships as well?
If you don’t like it, go buy a Polaris.

Sooo what’s next? You can only buy from dealers in your area? It’s bullshit! I don’t buy extended warranties. So it’s no skin off my back either way. But the reality is if they make this warranty change mid stream... what makes you think that they will continue to “take care of their customers”? I don’t consider doubling the price of a warranty and limiting who and where you can purchase that warranty as taking care of its customers.
