Tap into peak performance from your 2020-2021 Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 with a Power Vision 3. This flash tuning device:

1. Raises rev limits, unlocking full power for longer in each range.
2. Improves throttle response — and more horsepower to the ground (WHP) than stock!
3. Full power to reverse!

Stock (red) vs. PV3 tuned (blue) results from Dynojet in-house dynamometer

For the 2020-2021 Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000, Dynojet’s Power Vision 3 gives you the ability to raise the rev limiter on the vehicle, tapping into the power you deserve. With a proper tune, we’ve seen WHP raises of roughly 10% compared to bone stock performance.

With a Power Vision 3 tune, you can keep your engine running smoother and cooler under classic driving conditions.

Customize your ride and take control: the Power Vision 3 can also alter throttle-by-wire tables (for full and low power modes in every gear), alter fan on/off temperatures, adjust fueling per cylinder per gear, adjust injector scaling, alter AlphaN to Speed-Density bias crossover and alter timing per cylinder.

We’ve raised the bar when it comes to what you should expect from a handheld tuning device. Power Vision 3’s easy-to-read, no-nonsense display puts performance at your fingertips, empowering you to choose from our vast library of pre-tested tunes or to build one yourself. The Power Vision 3 fuel tuner updates the tables directly within the ECU to optimize the air/fuel ratio, keeping you in sync and in control.

When you’re back in the garage after recording data from the day’s adventure, your performance data can then be clearly seen using our Power Core software to help you improve your ride.

The Power Vision 3 device holds multiple tunes at once and allows you to optimize your ride for power, speed or fuel-efficiency. After you’ve flashed your ECU, you can either unplug the device or head out with Power Vision 3 attached as an extra instrument panel. Power Vision 3 easily connects through the OEM-style connectors, so installation won’t keep you away for long.

I was just chatting with someone who has this on his KRX and was very happy with it.

BigParm, I believe they do have a tune for the California model. You could call or email them...Nice people to talk to. I'm wondering about octane requirements...I didn't think to ask them when I called. It appears the PV3 is just a fuel tuner and not ignition. I'm a little unclear on this. If anyone knows, please share.

Thanks Craig. I’d like to know if they’re tunes are a “one size fits most” or if they have tunes for different altitudes etc. If all their tunes are for 1000ft and below, it won’t work for me. Let me know what you find out Craig. Thanks.

From Dynojet

Octane 91 or better
Altitude compensated
Tested on stock exhaust (slip on will work also)
Cooling temps lowered
Speed limiter altered
Rev limit raised 200-300 rpm
Timing altered
Flat spot eliminated
Fuel curve altered (richer)
Altered throttle response
HP increased by 7-10 HP

Of course if we are going to get a super charger it should be best to wait and get the two by Dynojet for the supercharger at that time correct?

So I just spoke with Chance over at DynoJet. There are 2 versions of the tunes, one for CA models, and one for 49 state. When you plug the tuner in, it will identify which version you have, and will automatically direct you to the tune that’s for your machine. They both were programmed tunes at 2000ft altitude, and both require 91+ octane. The tunes they have are for stock machines with stock exhausts, but more tunes are coming as they get the chance to get different exhausts on the machine and test.

Thanks Craig for finding out that info. PM sent.

good deal

I called and spoke to them as well

Seems the route to go as they will be updating for free tunes for all of us so we can pick and choose which works

Exactly. I like the idea that the tunes are free, and even the software for your computer is free. Plus, you can reinstall your OEM software at any time.

LOL I thought it was a big deal to be going riding down low at 4500 ish feet. Standing bye (with great anticipation) for tunes for those of us who don't do flatland.
That was my concern as I’m at 5000ft+. After talking with them, they said the computer will compensate for the lower oxygen rate. I had brought up the 91 octane requirements, because usually you don’t need that at higher altitudes. He said to run the 91 because it was how they programmed the tune at 2000ft and it won’t be that different at the higher altitudes.

I was just wondering about that very question. Thanks! I have a $hitload of ETOH free premium stored here that I was going to take to the Powell area in a few weeks and was thinking about having to add octane booster because of the 4K+ drop in altitude. ETOH free is available where I'm going, but the person at the source I talked to has no idea of the octane rating other than "well, it's premium." Looking like octane booster is definitely on the to bring list just in case. Thinking the PV3 will be a next month thing as this month has been stupid expensive and there is too much going on to play with a cool new toy.
