fyi on the heater... its a nice addition to the cab. looks and fits factory. blows a good amount of air. if your in need of a heater or vent system.. But two things that you should know if serious. The video instructions show them hooking the heater up to the wrong radiator hose.. the written is correct but have the return in backwards. The Problem with the heater is the performance valve. It is another thermostat set at 195.. the krx even on a hot day runs 180. As soon as the heater was installed and properly bled it shot up to 220 fan finally came on then down to 170 then immediately up to 212 then fan came on and down to 170 then back to 212... this cycle would continue and would take some time to settle at 195.. once off and cooled it would do cycle over... The reason is this thermostat is between the engine and the radiator. So do yourself a favor and remove the thermostat from the performance valve housing before you install it.Then install a second 5/8" inline shut off on the return side of heater core so when off you won't have any heat in the heater core for the summer. in the winter you can easily reach down and flip the manual valve on.. Then the heater and vent system works great..

Thanks for the info. The KRX I'm looking to buy already has the Cold Weather Package installed. Hopefully the dealer knew what they were doing if video and written instructions both have errors.

Yea I saw that on that video, not to mention the countless issues on other videos. There was a time they had the comment section open in their videos but since them have shit them off on YouTube. Talk about silencing the customer!
