New member here. Just installed aftermarket clutch weights (rcor). Does anyone feel like they're just not as snug and do you feel that might not be a good thing. I tried to pinch them a bit with pliers just to be safe ,but didn't want to be to rough with them. Thoughts?

I had the same feeling when I installed my RCOR weights. Some "felt" better than others. I'm thinking about ordering replacements and putting them in next time I pull the cover for cleaning.

I purchased a new set of circlips from RCOR when I ordered their weights. I read that some were seeing what you guys are seeing with the stock ones.

No problems so far. I have about 80 miles since i put the weights on.

The main thing when removing those clips is to have the proper tool to do so, and go easy removing them. You only need to slightly open them enough to slide them off the pin. If they’re not snug when you reinstall them, do not run until you get replacements. Catastrophic clutch failure can happen if I pin comes out.

Update, ...harbor freight, ...all changed out and snug as a bug. Thanks all!

I slung one. Didn’t replace the clips. My fault should have known better.
