I will have a better description when I get back from the dealership, spring in the clutch failed wrecked some parts, I’m sure it was a result of the improper torque on some of the bolts which is under recall, good news is it’s covered under warranty, really stinks that my machine is in the repair shop before the scheduled break in service.
3 weeks, one week and counting in the shop.
At least Kawasaki is taking care of it and has issued a recall. Many other manufacturers don't. They wait till disaster strikes somone.

I don't see a recall on Kawasaki's website. There was one for the TERYX and TERYX4 for the left side upper knuckle joint nut being improperly tightened but that's about it.

I received a notice in the mail from Kawasaki about two weeks ago..

Same here, Got a recall letter in the mail this week. Got my machine in and got everything torque down . Was going to do it myself but could not find any specs , guess I’m going to have to order a service manual .
Kawasaki has put out a service notification that the torque wrench at the factory was set wrong for the clutch primary.
All clutches need to be checked prior to selling or using the unit to ensure the proper torque is set
I had my left front knuckle where the ball joint is attached fail and broke with only 170 miles on the machine. Kawasaki fixed it, but I am afraid to drive it.
That is just crazy.. there is no reason that should have happened especially when they did 5 years of development

Had issue with clutch on mine as well. 7 miles on it and the drive clutch is making a ton of noise. Going to the dealer tomorrow
Wonder if this has to do with the post SuperATV put up about the primary bolts backing out.

Sucks these machines are in the shop so soon. Got 24 hrs on mine and its back in already as well. Rear axle and 4wd.

That sucks and hoping mine is problem free
I am taking mine back to the shop also clutch problems, Mine shifts pretty hard and shifts like an automatic trans in a car/truck.
How are you guys able to get them back in the shop so fast? I’m being told I have to wait over 3 months to get mine in
Same issue acts like it shifts at 41 mph. Called kawasaki taking it to the shop. They said they would cover it.

Exactly where mine does it. I called my dealer today and asked about A arm knuckles and clutch and they don't know anything about it and Kaw has not issued a recall on either....actually no recalls of anything pertaining to my vin. I'm taking it to them to look at the clutch soon.
