With the outrageous price of aftermarket mufflers, has anyone attempted to use an automotive performance muffler on their KRX? I'm considering cutting the intake flange off the stock muffler and welding on to an aftermarket, then, rig up a way to fasten to the existing muffler mount. There are a number of aftermarket performance mufflers out there in the $50-$100 range compared to $400+ for the UTV. Is there an actual difference in the internal construction of UTV mufflers compared to automotive that would make this a stupid-ass idea?
