I am seeing a lot of positive postings on 35" tires for the KRX, so i am going to make the switch. Looking for some advice, have narrowed my choices down to the Rockzilla's or the Braven Bloodaxe's. Mostly ride in Florida but venture up North a couple of times a year (Hatfield and Brimstone). Does anyone have a preference of one or the other, or is there something better i should be looking at?

I run the Bloodaxe’s and love them so far. They have been great at everything and we run a fairly even mix of mud, rock, and regular forest trails. The sidewalls are super strong and fit the beadlocks perfectly. Based on vids I might give the nod to zilla’s for true rock crawling, but for an everyday do it all tire i say it’s hard to beat the Bloodaxe. Plus 35’s = 48lbs and they look great!

The Super Grips are a good looking tire. I don't have much mileage on them yet but so far I like them a lot. I got the intermediate compound and they feel pretty soft. They grip awesome on the rocks even wet. They have a full 1" thread depth too. Don't see much real mud around here though, so I cant vouch for that.

So, I’m a big fan of the Berzerkers.. in fact I’m probably going to order a set of 32’s for my extra set of wheels and until the zillas come in. I have K9 35’s now. I’ll note this... the K9’s and zillas measure about the same size (about 33 3/4) and 55ish lbs, the Braven line will actually run true to size and a hair larger to account for being mounted on the machine. When running hard and at certain steering angles and compression. The K9’s will rub a little. I have a feeling the 35” Braven will rub a lot more as it’s true to size. It’s difficult to have this conversation about tire size because they’re not all apples to apples.

35” Braven Bloodaxe’s don’t rub at all, in any conditions. I typically run 10psi front and 12psi rear. I’ve aired down to 8/10 and up to 12/14. 10/12 seems to be the sweet spot for general trail riding. Great traction, good steering input, firm but compliant ride.
I don’t see how.. have you ever pulled both front shocks off?

I’d not heard of Braven tires before thanks for the info.

My 35" Ziilas new are 34.5". A buddy runs the Berzerkers in 35" on the factory wheels with absolutely no rubbing..
