So after completing my 20 hr service at home, now it is time to tackle the 50 hr service. Most of it consist of visual inspections however, when it comes to the CVT propeller shaft the dealer is telling me that you have to inspect and grease splines and U joints. Guess what, Kawasaki forgot to install grease zerks on any of the components. Has anybody done this service yet? What is involved? I would imagine alot of time being spent removing skid plates and taking apart the whole shaft system. Does anybody know of a upgrade on the propeller shaft system that you can buy with grease zerks built in?
